Welcome to the official blog of Catholicism 101. I will post a welcome video soon, but I would like to explain here what this project is about.
Catholicism 101 is a summer series for young adults (ages 18 to 25) that explores basic Catholic teaching. Our first topic will be "Our Trinitarian God: Bound by Love". In this presentation I hope to introduce a basic theology of Trinity and some of the implications for us as believers in a God of Love. I hope to answer, as best I am able, questions such as "What does it mean that God is BOTH One AND Three?", "Why is it so important that God is love?" and "How is our God different from other gods?"

Veni, Sancte Spiritus!
Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Your faithful; enkindle in us the fire of Your love. Send forth Your Spirit and we shall be created and Your will renew the face of the earth. Let us pray: O God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit instructs the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever rejoice in His consolation, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
